What do I need to register?

You will need your club number and your member number to register for the institute.

What is the website address (or URL) for Optimist Institute?


I can’t remember my password.

Go to the home page and click on ‘Login’.  

Enter your email address in the Username field.  

Click on the ‘Forgot your password?' hyperlink below the sign-in box and follow the prompts.  You will eventually receive an email with a temporary password.  Follow the instructions to reset your password.

I get a message stating that it doesn’t recognize my email address.

The email address you use to log into Optimist Institute must be the same address that OI has on file for your membership.  Sometimes people have more than one address, for work or personal use and sometimes people have changed email addresses from Rogers or Sympatico to Gmail or Hotmail.  You will need to use the correct email or have your club President, Secretary or Treasurer change your personal information on the Optimist International site to your new or preferred email address.

I know that I registered for Optimist Institute, but it has been a long time since I last logged in and now it won’t let me in.

If this happens to you, you will have to go through the registration process as if you are a first-time user.  Click on the ‘register’ tab instead of the ‘login’ tab on the home page.
